Miracle League of San Diego - Families can NOW REGISTER online
until August 15 for the fall season (every Saturday from Sept 26-Nov 21.

The Miracle League of San Diego provides children with mental and/or
physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in
an organized league. During each Miracle League game, every child is
given the opportunity to hit the ball and score a run. Miracle League team
members are assigned buddies who provide encouragement and assist

Challenger Basketball for North County starts in January 2010 on Tuesday

Challenger Baseball Leagues - Little League Challenger Division games
provide opportunities for children with disabilities (5-17) to play ball with as
much or as little assitance from typical peer buddies as needed.  Players in
the Challenger Division are not required to live in the city where their team
plays, as are other Little League players.

Challenger Football in North County  

TOPSoccer  (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based
training and team placement program designed for young ahletes with
physical and/or mental disabilities, organized by youth soccer association
volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning
and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a mental or physical
disability, with emphasis on Player Development rather than on Competition.
Players are placed on teams according to ability NOT by age.

AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization)
Region 152 has several
VIP soccer teams for children with special needs - located in Tierrasanta,
Chula Vista, Bonita, El Cajon, and Santee. Children do not have to be living

Mission Beach at the Lifeguard Station next to the roller coaster?
Summer hours are Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 1130am-430pm and Sat,
Sun from 1130am-530pm. Manual Beach Wheelchairs are
available at La Jolla Shores, Ocean Beach and South Pacific Beach

FREE ADULT TICKET WHEN YOU PURCHASE A TICKET
FOR A PERSON WITH A DISABILITY? You just need to show a
doctor's note that states the person has a disability and needs
supervision while in the community.
 


The Access Pass is for US citizens with a permanent disability - It provides
access to, and use of, any Federal recreation site that charges an Entrance
or Standard Amenity Fee.
